E. Smitty is an artist born in the 70’s and raised in North Carolina. His influences come from 70’s and 80’s soul singers. Vocally he is closely compared to K-Ci Hailey of the the group Jodeci.
His style is very much 90’s hip hop. While his clothing isn’t overly baggy its far from fitting. His image is far from silk suits and hard bottom shoes and closer to an “It was written” Nas. All of that contrasts when he gives a vocal display that closer to gospel.
